DC-DC converter for SiC MOSFET driving

by Published in Dataweek May 20, 2015

Mornsun released the QA01C DC-DC power supply module meeting the low on-resistance and low leakage current requirements of SiC MOSFET drivers.

It operates from a nominal 15 V input (13,5 to 16,5 V) and produces outputs of +20 V and -4 V, both with 100 mA of output current.

The device features internal circuitry optimised for energy provision at device turn-on and turn-off, and includes output short circuit protection and self-recovery capabilities. General applications are expected to include switching power converters, AC servo drives, welding equipment, industrial power conversion and uninterruptible power supplies.
