Works well. Not safe for external sensors.

Reflashing with other software (eg Tasmota) voids warranty.

No Isolation, so not safe to connect external sensors to. (There is about 60v on the pins on the board).

But if you just use it as is (as a relay/switch) then it is safe.

If you want to use external sensors, rather go for the Sonoff TH or the Sonoff Basic R2. They both have isolation, amd the TH has an external RJ11 connector for sensors.

sonoff basic

The sonoff basic is such a nice multifunctional device. Have purchased and use around 15 of them from controlling electric fence, outside lights to pool pump. Items from communica are always well packaged and delivered within timely fashion.
